June 6: I bought 4 small plants and tossed them into the pond.
18: Floated overnight in fertilizer solution.
September 26: In August the plants were small and very pale. I speculate that is is due to too much sunlight and competition for nutrients from the other plants in the pond, so I moved them to a tub of weak fertilizer solution and put it in the shade. Now they have a slightly better colour, but they are still small. I moved them today into the indoor aquarium where I will try to overwinter them.
