Vista Red 2000
May 24: I bought 19 plants of Vista Red, and planted them,
July 14: They are all flowering, with about 1 flower stalk per plant. Some of the flowers are red, and some are near magenta. I suspect the magenta ones were not Vista Reds.
August 8: There are no flowers right now. They all matured and were deadheaded.
~September 22: A light frost killed the tops of the plants.
October 4: Fairly heavy frost last night. I cleared the bed. They were not a very showy plant.
 
Blue Victoria Salvia 1995
May 14: I bought 14 plugs at the conservatory sale, and put them into 6-paks.
26: Planted 9.
31: +3 at Parkview Street.
July 29: It is beginning to look good now.
December 31: They were good, but never outstanding.
