2013
May 25: I moved the 2 clumps in the raised bed closer to the pond.
One clump seemed to have multiple tubers, but the other seemed to consist of just
1 tuber and a few roots.
June 23: The large clump is flowering nicely and has sent up new shoots.
The other moved clump and the original one are holding steady.
September 23: All doing well. One clump grew larger and the others look healthy.

September 15: Doing well. I watered it frequently.
It is crowded by the golden glow, but I moved two bits into the raised bed.

but my intention is still to get rid of it and plant another cedar in its bed.

8: I sprayed it with glyphosate.
August 3: The glyphosate seemed to have no effect as it is still doing fine.

13: A few stems had turned yellow.
I mowed it down and sprinkled the area with coffee grounds, to encourage worms.
I covered the area with newspaper or cardboard then grass clippings.
