June 18: There are a few leaves on a plant that may be a gaillardia.
July 4: It wasn't a gaillardia. There are none there.

June 15: The plant is quite large.
July 2: The flowers are beginning to open.
August 8: There are still some flowers.
25: I dug the centre part of the north perennial bed, incorporating compost, marked a bed with boards set into the ground, and replaced several gaillardia plants there.

April 19: There are many new shoots.
May 24: Doing well.
June 23: First flowers. Still doing well.
August 3: Flowering nicely.
31: The same. Rather leggy.
September 30: The flowers were attractive, in yellow and brown but not especially numerous. There is still 1 left.

June 1: A small plant, slow to show its first shoots.

June 11: Growing.
December 18: It flowered nicely in late summer.
