Other Years

2001
January 7: Still doing fine.
June 18: Almost the plants in one box died, perhaps of sun scald, but the plants in the other box are doing fairly well.
December 2: I cleaned out one box when I brought it in, but the other still has many plants.

2000
April 21: Doing fine in the deck boxes.
May 13: I donated my larger houseplant to a garage sale. It lost many leaves and stems in being prepared for the move. I still have one in the front window.
June 21: I poked stems from that houseplant into the soil of the deck boxes.
August 8: They are coming along slowly. Many of the stems are producing new small side stems.
October 3: I brought the box in, and just in time. There are a few good plants there, about 10 cm long.

1999
June 8: I put about a dozen rooted cuttings in with the geraniums in the deck boxes, as well as some single leaves ("bananas").
23: They seem to be doing well.
August 3: Coming along.
31: The same.
September 30: Still coming along.
October 2: Many of them froze last night. I brought them in today.
November 21: Doing fine in the basement.
