2011
April 25: I started 9 cells of Bolero mixed, using newly purchased seed. I put the cells on top of the basement fluorescents.
May 29: I set the seedlings out. They are still quite small.
June 29: Doing fine. I gave them some iron because they seemed to need it.
 
2010
April 2: I started 9 cells with many seeds per cell. The seeds are from 1995 and 1996.
17: No sprouts.
 
2002
April 14: I seeded a 9-pak thickly with seeds from 1995 and 1996, and covered them with p-v-s mix (peat-vermiculite-sand).
18: A few sprouts
19: More sprouts.
25: Thinned.
May 31: Divided.   They are just big enough to put into the garden, but I will give them a few days to settle into their new cell soil first.
June 8:  I set them out, about 22 plants.
July 24:  Some plants here and there are flowering.
September 8:  The same.

April 15: I seeded one 9-pak, thickly.
20: Sprouts.
26: Thinned.
June 1: Outside, not doing too well.
~September 30: Not a very good show this year.

May 30: 8 plants set out.
August 7: Only 2 left. Perhaps it has been too dry.

April 13: Started from 1995 seed.
May 4: Seedlings doing fine.
~June 1: Planted out.
15: Doing fine.
July 7: First flowers.
mid-August: Flowering nicely.

June 10: I bought 9 and planted them.
12: They wilted, but recovered almost completely when watered.
July 4: Some in flower.
