May 24: I planted 8 bulbs of Sorbonne and 8 of Playtime near the tiger lilies. I bought the bulbs at Costco a few days ago.
August 11: One shoot has appeared, finally.

June 17: No clear sign of them.

August 3: Antarctica is in flower. There is no sign of any other varieties.

August 13: There was about one flower of the Antarctica variety. Those plants are weak, and the other varieties have disappeared.

May 1: No sign of them yet.
12: Several small sprouts.
June 16: The bed is full of healthy large plants.
December 31: Most of the plants seem to be tiger lilies, and most of the other varieties did not appear at all.

April 5: One small shoot appeared today. Nope, that was a globemaster allium.
August 1: There were some flowers but the plants and flowers were small, probably because of the dryness.

July 11:  Two Juliette flowers and one Antarctica.

May 3:  One lily shoot is up, probably an Antarctica.
8:  A few more are up.
July 3:  One orange flower.   There are only 2 stalks of the orange variety, which is remarkable because there used to be so many.   The other varieties are coming along fine.
7:  Two buds of Juliette have opened, and 7 more are developing.   They are on 2 stalks.
9:  One buds of Italia has opened, and 12 more are developing, all on the same stalk.
10:  One buds of Gee has opened, and 1 more is developing on the same stalk.
12:  The later flowers of Juliette are paler than the first ones.
16:  2 Antarctica flowers today.

May 22: Many small sprouts of the orange variety appeared today.
28: Gee was visible yesterday, and Antarctica is up today.
June 19: I bought 2 more plants 2 days ago, from the Lily Nook in Neepawa.   One was Italia, and the other Juliette.   Italia (Hoffgaarde) has upfacing flowers that are reddish-pink with red-orange tips, a golden throat, and large spots in the centre.   Juliette (Mak Leek Inc.) has upfacing flowers that are a delicate rose pink with a small white peppery centre.
July 24:  The 2 new plants are flowering and look lovely.   Antarctica is almost finished.

May 4: Many shoots are coming through.
June 25: First flower, an orange pixie.
June 27: First Gee (yellow) flower. There is a lovely cluster of orange blossoms.
July 8: First Antarctica (white) flower.

April 30: Many new shoots.
June 2: Doing fine, but some seemed to need iron. I sprinkled some iron chelates around some of them.
4: I planted 2 more varieties, Gee (yellow) and Antarctica (white with black specks), both bought at T & T yesterday for $2.95 each.   I dug a big hole, and incorporated peat, fertilizer, and sulphur.   I also sprinkled sulphur around the original orange variety.
15: One of the new varieties is coming through.
21: The other is too, and the orange lily flowers have started to open.
July 14: The largest orange lily has just finished flowering, and the many small ones are about to start.
29: One Gee flower is open.
August 7: The Gees are done, but one Antarctica blossom has opened.   I gave them iron chelates yesterday.
~September 28: William dug some of the orange-flowered bulbs, the ones from the yellowish-leaved plants.
October 4: Fairly heavy frost last night.   I replanted most of the bulbs where the oriental lily had been.
29: I picked some seed pods from the Antarctica plant.
December 2: They put on a nice show this year.

May 24: They are growing fine. There are several stalks in the garden.
July 10: First flower.
August 3: Finished flowering. Did very nicely.
