May 25: I moved the 2 clumps in the raised bed closer to the pond. One clump seemed to have multiple tubers, but the other seemed to consist of just 1 tuber and a few roots.
June 23: The large clump is flowering nicely and has sent up new shoots. The other moved clump and the original one are holding steady.
September 23: All doing well. One clump grew larger and the others look healthy.

September 15: Doing well. I watered it frequently. It is crowded by the golden glow, but I moved two bits into the raised bed.

27: I tossed a little superphosphate on it.

August 3: Dying down with brown tips.

September 1: I pulled up the few green leaves, and sprayed the area without glyophosate to kill the quack grass.
18: I dug the east end of the bed, removed the tubers, and installed edging. I separated some of the tubers and planted them in the west end of the bed, which I had previously dug and enriched with compost.
24: I gave some of the roots to General Byng School.

~April 20: I sprayed Round-up just before the new growth appeared, to kill the quack grass, which had already sprouted.

~May 21: I gave it superphosphate and KCl.
June 1: There were very few flowers this year. The quack grass is gone.

May 12: Doing fine, but my intention is still to get rid of it and plant another cedar in its bed.

8: I sprayed it with glyphosate.
August 3: The glyphosate seemed to have no effect as it is still doing fine.
August 4: I sprayed it again with glyphosate.
13: A few stems had turned yellow. I mowed it down and sprinkled the area with coffee grounds, to encourage worms. I covered the area with newspaper or cardboard then grass clippings.
