March 30: I started seeds on top of some soil.
June 6: Ben planted the plants on the north side of the raised bed.
8: Doing well. They were each in their own cell.
August 20: They have done well and make a good show, but are largely hidden by the datura.

March 18: I put 18 seeds of Silverado on top on sterilized soil, in the piano room.
24: 6 sprouts.
25: 9 sprouts.
27: 10 sprouts. I seeded 6 more cells with 12 seeds.
May 27: I set seedlings out into the raised bed.
 
2012
February 16: I started 6 cells with about 5 seeds per cell.
March 25: Finally 3 sprouts from a second sowing.
September 15: None to set out.
 
2011
March 28: I seeded 6 cells.
June 5: I set my 4 small seedlings out in the raised bed.
 
2010
February 25: The plants I brought in late had some frozen parts, but you couln't identify those parts for a couple of months, when the dead branches dried out completly. They are all doing fine in the house now.
March 7: I seeded 9 cells with about 3 seeds per cell.
14: 10 sprouts.
May 8: I set out 2 of the plants from last year.
16: I set out a row of my seedlings. I put the third over-wintered plant out a few days ago.
June 17: I set some seedlings out a while ago. They are doing fine. I have some extra seedlings with not place to plant them.
July 2: Coming along.
12: Still doing fine. I planted my final plants in the new central raised bed.
 
2009
January 24: Ordered a packet of Silver Dust from Stokes. They are out of Silver Lace, which I particularly wanted.
February 8: I searched the internet for Silver Lace, but found only one other supplier and they were out too. I started one tray of seeds today, on top of the piano.
14: The seeds, which are on top of the soil, have sprouted and roots are heading downwards.
15: The first leaves have developed and I put the seedlings under lights.
March 27: They have grown swiftly. I transplanted them into cells today, filling 17 cells.
May 22: I set 6 out in my garden. The other plants went to downtown planters.
July 4: Coming along fine.
August 3: Doing fine.
November 3: I brought 2 plants into the house, to have as attractive houseplants and to set out again next year. Half of the plants left in the garden still look fine, but half look rather frozen and done.
11: I brought 3 more plants in.
