2020 May 27: I planted 2 large carrot halves from the refrigerator. June 12: No visible growth. August 11: Same. November 1: I planted a large carrot from the same batch.

2013 June 25: I planted one carrot from the refrigerator. July: It died. I think it dried out too much before it was planted.
2007 May 21: I stuck 3 carrot tops into the garden. They won't give carrots, but they should give nice foliage that attracts butterflies, and I may get some carrot seeds for next year. At least they will be interesting. May 27: The tops had a little pale green foliage when I set them out. Now the foliage is a larger and is dark green.
